Signs of the End of the Age

Noah Webster Bible

Mat 24:1–8

  1. 1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
  2. 2 And Jesus said to them, See ye not all these things? verily I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
  3. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
  4. 4 And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
  5. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and will deceive many.
  6. 6 And ye will hear of wars, and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
  7. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places.
  8. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Mrk 13:1–8

  1. 1 And as he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, Master, see what manner of stones, and what buildings are here !
  2. 2 And Jesus answering said to him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
  3. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, over against the temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, asked him privately,
  4. 4 Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
  5. 5 And Jesus answering them, began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
  6. 6 For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ ; and will deceive many.
  7. 7 And when ye shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end will not be yet.
  8. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be earthquakes in divers places, and there will be famines, and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Luk 21:5–11

  1. 5 And as some spoke of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and gifts, he said,
  2. 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.
  3. 7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when will these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
  4. 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ ; and the time draweth near: therefore go ye not after them.
  5. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars, and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass: but the end is not immediately.
  6. 10 Then said he to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
  7. 11 And great earthquakes will be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences: and fearful sights, and great signs will there be from heaven.
