Tiglath-Pileser III's tribute lists — Menahem and Ahaz
Two kings of Israel and Judah appear by name in Assyrian tribute records, in the reigns the Bible places them.

Assyrian tribute lists naming "Menahem of Samaria" and "Jehoahaz of Judah" — the longer form of the name of king Ahaz — among the western rulers who paid. 2 Kings 15 has Menahem give Pul a thousand talents of silver; 2 Kings 16 has Ahaz send silver and gold to Tiglath-Pileser and ask for help.
