Greek scripture before Christianity
The Greek Old Testament existed in Jewish hands, in writing, before the New Testament was written — so its readings were not produced to suit Christian argument.
Außerbiblisch genanntHandschrift2nd–1st century BC
Fragments of the Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures, copied before the Christian era — including a scroll of the Minor Prophets in Greek from a Judaean desert cave, and a second-century BC papyrus of Deuteronomy from Egypt. The translation the New Testament writers quote was already old when they used it.
Fragments of Deuteronomy, Leviticus, Exodus and the Twelve in Greek, all pre-Christian.

Was er zeigt
The pre-Christian date of these fragments is secure. How much the Greek text was later revised, and which Hebrew text it was made from, are active questions.
