Nakapatay ng mahigit tatlumpu't-anim na kalalakihan ang mga kalalakihan ng Ai habang tinugis nila sila mula sa tarangkahan ng lungsod hanggang sa tibagang bato, at pinatay nila sila habang bumababa sila sa isang burol.
