The Lord's Prayer
Wycliffe's Bible (Modern Spelling)
Mat 6:9–13
- 9 And thus ye shall pray, Our Father that art in heavens, hallowed be thy name;
- 10 thy kingdom come to; be thy will done in earth as it is in heaven or thy will be done as in heaven and in earth;
- 11 give to us this day our each day’s bread;
- 12 and forgive to us our debts, as we forgive to our debtors;
- 13 and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Luk 11:1–4
- 1 And it was done, when he was praying in a place, as he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.
- 2 And he said to them, When ye pray, say ye, Father or Father ours, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come to; thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
- 3 Give to us today our each day’s bread.
- 4 And forgive to us our sins, as we forgive to each man that oweth to us. And lead us not into temptation.
