และตรัสแก่พ่อว่า ‘ดูเถิด เราจะให้เจ้ามีลูกดกทวียิ่งขึ้นและเราจะทำให้เจ้าเป็นชนชาติใหญ่ และจะยกแผ่นดินนี้ให้แก่เชื้อสายของเจ้าที่มาภายหลังเจ้าเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์เป็นนิตย์’
