Baada ya mambo haya yote kumalizika, Waisraeli ambao walikuwa huko wakaenda kwenye miji ya Yuda, wakayavunja yale mawe ya kuabudia na kuzikatakata zile nguzo za Ashera. Wakabomoa mahali pa juu pa kuabudia pamoja na madhabahu zake kila mahali katika Yuda na Benyamini, na katika Efraimu na Manase.
