Nang magkagayo'y si Daniel na ang pangala'y Beltsasar, natigilang sangdali, at binagabag siya ng kaniyang mga pagiisip. Ang hari ay sumagot, at nagsabi, Beltsasar, huwag kang bagabagin ng panaginip, o ng kahulugan.
