The mob took Jesus to the big house of the big boss of the Jewish ceremonies. That house had a yard with a wall around it. Peter followed a little bit behind the mob, then he walked into the yard of that house and sat down with that mob near their fire. All the other leaders of the Jewish ceremonies and elders and law teachers sat down together at that house.
