เพราะว่าถ้าคนใดจะมาเทศนาสั่งสอนถึงพระเยซูอีกองค์หนึ่ง ซึ่งแตกต่างกับที่เราได้เทศนาสั่งสอนนั้น หรือถ้าท่านจะรับวิญญาณอื่นซึ่งแตกต่างกับที่ท่านได้รับแต่ก่อน หรือรับข่าวประเสริฐอื่นซึ่งแตกต่างกับที่ท่านได้รับไว้แล้ว แหมท่านทั้งหลายช่างอดทนสนใจฟังเขาเสียจริงๆ
