The Last Supper

Unlocked Literal Bible (ULB)

Mat 26:26–30

  1. 26 As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, and broke it. He gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”
  2. 27 He took a cup and gave thanks, and gave it to them and said, “Drink it, all of you.
  3. 28 For this is my blood of the covenant that is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
  4. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.”
  5. 30 When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Mrk 14:22–26

  1. 22 As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, and broke it. He gave it to them and said, “Take this. This is my body.”
  2. 23 He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
  3. 24 He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, the blood that is poured out for many.
  4. 25 Truly I say to you, I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”
  5. 26 When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Luk 22:14–23

  1. 14 When the time came, he sat down with the apostles.
  2. 15 Then he said to them, “I have greatly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
  3. 16 For I say to you, I will not eat it again, until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
  4. 17 Then Jesus took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, “Take this, and share it among yourselves.
  5. 18 For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine again until the kingdom of God comes.”
  6. 19 Then he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
  7. 20 He took the cup in the same way after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
  8. 21 But pay attention. The one who betrays me is with me at the table.
  9. 22 For the Son of Man indeed goes as it has been determined. But woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!”
  10. 23 They began to discuss among themselves which one of them it might be who would do this.
