Leviticus 19:13
'Thou dost not oppress thy neighbour, nor take plunder; the wages of the hireling doth not remain with thee till morning.Ko e veesi ni 'i he māmani mo'oni
'I he ngaahi lea fē
- פְּעֻלָּהpᵉʻullâh(abstractly) work
- שָׂכִירsâkîyra man at wages by the day or year
- גָּזַלgâzalto pluck off; specifically to flay, strip or rob
- עָשַׁקʻâshaqto press upon, i.e. oppress, defraud, violate, overflow
- לוּןlûwnto stop (usually over night); by implication, to stay permanently; hence (in a bad sense)
- רֵעַrêaʻan associate (more or less close)
