Deuteronomy 15:23
Only thou shalt keep this, that thou eat not the blood of those or them, but shed or pour it out as water into the earth.Ko e veesi ni 'i he māmani mo'oni
'I he ngaahi lea fē
- שָׁפַךְshâphakto spill forth (blood, a libation, liquid metal; or even a solid, i.e. to mound up); also
- דָּםdâmblood (as that which when shed causes death) of man or an animal; by analogy, the juice of
- אָכַלʼâkalto eat (literally or figuratively)
- אֶרֶץʼeretsthe earth (at large, or partitively a land)
Ko e ngaahi lea faka-Hepelū mo e faka-Kalisi 'oku tu'u 'i he tu'a 'o e veesi ni. 'E ha'u 'a e fakahoa lea-ki-he-lea mo e liliu lea-ki-he-lea.
