ท่านจึงเอาวัวมาคู่หนึ่งฟันออกเป็นท่อนๆ ส่งไปทั่วเขตแดนทั้งสิ้นของอิสราเอลโดยมือของผู้สื่อสาร กล่าวว่า “ผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดที่ไม่ออกมาตามซาอูลและซามูเอล จะกระทำอย่างนี้แก่วัวของเขา” และความเกรงกลัวพระเยโฮวาห์ก็มาเหนือประชาชน เขาทั้งหลายพากันออกมาเป็นใจเดียวกัน
