Jesus Loves the Children

Mark 10

These stories haven't been translated into this language yet — they're shown in English for now.

Jesus was travelling through the land of Judaea. Everywhere he went, crowds of people came to him, and he taught them, as he always did.

One day, people brought their young children to Jesus. They wanted Jesus to touch them and bless them.

But Jesus' disciples scolded the people who brought the children. They tried to turn them away.

When Jesus saw this, he was not pleased at all. He said to his disciples, "Let the little children come to me. Do not stop them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Then Jesus said something wonderful. "I tell you the truth: whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will not enter it." Grown-ups have things to learn from children!

And Jesus took the children up in his arms. He put his hands on them, and he blessed them, one by one.
