'I he ngaahi lea fē
- אַרְגָּמָןʼargâmânpurple (the color or the dyed stuff)
- שָׁנִיshânîycrimson, properly, the insect or its color, also stuff dyed with it
- תּוֹלָעtôwlâʻthe crimson-grub, but used only (in this connection) of the colorfrom it, and cloths dyed
- תְּכֵלֶתtᵉkêleththe cerulean mussel, i.e. the color (violet) obtained therefrom or stuff dyed therewith
- זָהָבzâhâbgold, figuratively, something gold-colored (i.e. yellow), as oil, a clear sky
- לָקַחlâqachto take (in the widest variety of applications)
