ท่านจึงสั่งเขาว่า “จงตามเรามาเถิด เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงมอบศัตรูของท่าน คือชนโมอับไว้ในมือของท่านแล้ว” เขาทั้งหลายจึงลงตามท่านไป และยึดท่าข้ามแม่น้ำจอร์แดนสกัดคนโมอับไว้ไม่ยอมให้ใครข้ามไปได้สักคนเดียว
