แล้วท่านก็ไปที่น้ำพุ โยนเกลือลงในนั้นและกล่าวว่า “พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราได้กระทำน้ำนี้ให้ดีแล้ว ตั้งแต่นี้ไปจะไม่มีความตายหรือการแท้งลูกมาจากน้ำนี้อีก”
