แล้วเยโฮยาดาปุโรหิตนำหีบมาใบหนึ่ง เจาะรูๆหนึ่งที่ฝาหีบนั้น และตั้งไว้ที่ข้างๆแท่นบูชาด้านขวาเมื่อเข้าไปในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ และพวกปุโรหิตผู้ที่เฝ้าอยู่ที่ธรณีประตูก็นำเงินทั้งหมดซึ่งเขานำมาในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ใส่ไว้ในหีบนั้น
