แล้วเยโฮยาดาปุโรหิตจึงนำบรรดานายร้อยผู้บัญชาการกองทัพออกมา สั่งเขาว่า “จงคุมพระนางออกมาระหว่างแถวทหาร ผู้ใดที่ตามพระนางไปก็ให้ประหารชีวิตเสียด้วยดาบ” เพราะปุโรหิตกล่าวว่า “อย่าประหารพระนางในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์”
