เขาว่า ‘ข้าพเจ้าขอร้องให้ท่านอนุญาตให้ข้าพเจ้าไป เพราะครอบครัวของข้าพเจ้ามีการถวายสัตวบูชาในเมือง และพี่ชายของข้าพเจ้าสั่งให้ข้าพเจ้าไปที่นั่น บัดนี้ถ้าข้าพเจ้าได้รับความกรุณาในสายตาของท่าน ข้าพเจ้าก็ขอร้องให้ท่านอนุญาตให้ข้าพเจ้าไปเยี่ยมพี่ชายของข้าพเจ้า’ ด้วยเหตุนี้เขาจึงมิได้มาที่โต๊ะของกษัตริย์”
