Pagkatapos pinasok ang lungsod, at kinagabihan tumakas ang lahat ng mga lumalaban na kalalakihan sa gabi sa pamamagitan ng tarangkahan sa pagitan ng dalawang pader, sa may hardin ng hari, kahit na nasa buong paligid ng lungsod ang mga Caldean.
